The wine, the cuisine and the area: there's a thread that ties together the magic of this landscape at the foot of Vesuvius with its
culinary traditions and, above all, with the passion for Lacryma Christi, the wine that comes from this area.
Experience a unique blend of nature, local flavors, and the traditions of Vesuvius, starting with a walk through the vineyards to take in the scenic panorama
embracing the Gulf of Naples, Sorrento, and the island of Capri.
We then move on to visiting the wine cellars, where we will demonstrate and explain our production methods prior to the wine tasting, where we pair the wines with local culinary specialties from this corner of paradise on the slopes of Vesuvius. We look forward to seeing you!

Our expert guide will lead you through our vineyards, pointing out the grape varieties and cultivation methods we use here on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius. You'll love the views over the countryside from here!
From grape vines to corked bottles...all phases of our wine production take place right here in the winery. You'll visit everything from the presses, where it all begins, to the barrel room, where our wines are aged.
Begin with a morning vineyard and garden walk, then on to a cooking class, and end with a full lunch and tasting. Contact us and we'll arrange an unforgettable visit!
This heirloom grape tomato is grown only on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius, and is harvested at the beginning of the summer and traditionally hung in bunches to be preserved until the following spring, With its dense, flavorful pulp, this tomato variety is particularly suitable for pasta and pizza sauce, simmered with only a drizzle of olive oil, basil, and a pinch of salt.
Guests visiting Cantina del Vesuvio love to relax on our comfortable terrace overlooking the rolling vineyards and shimmering Mediterranean, with the Island of Capri on the horizon. We hold our tastings here or, on chilly days, on our veranda with its roaring fireplace. We also have a small "club house", a rustic hut once used by the men who worked the fields.
Why do we sell our wines exclusively from our shop, rather than from supermarkets or wholesalers? Our unique wines and other products are deeply rooted in this local volcanic terroir on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius, and we want travelers to discover this land along with its wines. You can purchase bottles in our winery shop, or online through our website.
